Projects

Sustinat Green has experienced with numerous Environmental and Social Impacts Assessment (ESIA) projects throughout Cambodia. We conducted ESIA studies in various sectors, including oil and gas, eco-tourist resort development, island resort development, inland resort development, coastal resort development, special economic zone (industrial parks), drinking water supply, and many other manufacturing projects.

In particular, our key personnel have more than 10 years of experience in other types of projects, including but not limited to ESIA studies of coal-fired power plants, and transmission line projects.

Feature projects:

1. The Project for Upgrading Quality of Health Service of Siem Reap Provincial Hospital of the Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has taken the responsibility to implement an integrated approach to health service provision in Cambodia. The MoH's health service system aims to reduce diseases and deaths caused by infectious and non-infectious diseases, with a focus on women, children, and babies, through service provisions like preventive measures, health education, diagnostic and treatment facilities, and rehabilitation therapies. To achieve this goal, the MoH has planned to upgrade the Siem Reap Provincial Referral Hospital as it is the main hospital in northern Cambodia and caters to patients from Siem Reap Province and surrounding areas. However, due to outdated facilities and inadequate equipment, the hospital fails to cater to the healthcare needs of local people. Thus, the ministry, with funding support from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), plans to renovate and construct new buildings in the hospital. This project aims to upgrade the quality of healthcare provision at the provincial level and move towards achieving universal health coverage for Cambodian citizens. Read more.

2. The Project for Upgrading Quality of Health Service of Kampong Cham Provincial Hospital of the Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health (MoH) is highly responsible for implementing an integrated approach to health service provision, including prevention services, health education, diagnosis, treatment, maintenance, and rehabilitation to provide quality, safe, and efficient services. The health service system primarily focuses on service provision or public health interventions related to resident health and the impact of society on health as well. These service provisions aim to reduce diseases and deaths of mothers, babies, and children and address infectious and non-infectious diseases and public health issues. MoH has planned to upgrade the quality of healthcare services at Kampong Cham Provincial Hospital to provide better healthcare services to the general population in the region.

The proposed project for upgrading the quality of healthcare services at Kampong Cham Provincial Hospital consists of renovating and removing existing buildings and constructing new ones. The current internal medical ICU and former surgery block will be replaced by an advanced medical services block and a general medical services block, respectively. Additionally, the mortuary building and wastewater treatment plant are also supposed to be constructed for this proposed project. The project aims to achieve several objectives, including providing high-quality medical services, tertiary healthcare with accurate diagnoses and more effective and efficient treatments for local people, and implementing new medical technologies in the region. The improvement of advanced medical services is designed to strengthen healthcare by establishing a training system for using advanced technologies. This strengthening of the health sector has been supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) following a request made by the Cambodian Government.  Read more.
